Watercolor and ink on paper.
8" x 10" matted
Still life of artichoke leaves after they have been stripped of their goodness. There is a real connection with this plant as you go through the process of peeling and eating the goodness off the leaves that I find with few other foods.
Painted with watercolor and ink on Fabriano 140 lb. (300g) watercolor paper. Original painting is matted with archival mat and mounted on foam core, ready to frame.
