There is something about a muted palette that is both soothing and mysterious. Adding the geometric pattern in the vase really added contrast and interest to this piece. While the first several pieces in this series were bold and bright, I felt the impulse to go in the other direction and tone things down. Coming from a place of peace and tranquility instead of outrage feels good!
