Stasis is a subdued work, representing unseen patterns of frozen energy or belief systems on which we rely in our carefully circumscribed worlds. When events relentlessly interrupt our stasis, it forces a reconnection to one another, the natural world, the earth and the cosmos.

The surface is composed of quiet ribbons of color and layered geometries, which link circles, connecting lines, and grids using patterns of dots and lines and translucent color to reference the boundaries, both natural and social within which we perform our personal reality.  This visual iconography reflects an intersection of ideas, consciousness and events, frozen in time and space.
