Jurors Select Artwork by Pat Cross into New Exhibition at Tamarack.

Into this exhibit, jurors selected a new artwork by Pat Cross created specifically for this exhibition at the David L. Dickirson Fine Art Gallery in Tamarack Marketplace.

“I chose to draw the Star Wars character Princess Leia because I’m drawn to her grounded sensibilities,” says Pat Cross, “and her courage to actively protect -- fiercely, if necessary-- what she values most.” Pat adds, “Though some may find those qualities intimidating in women, I find them admirable in anyone of character!” This original drawing mounts in a slate gray frame (22” x 12”), and is wired, ready to hang wherever you wish to be reminded to ground yourself and take courage.

This original drawing displays at the David L. Dickirson Fine Art Gallery in Tamarack from April 23 to June 15, 2022. To view or purchase the work, visit the Gallery at One Tamarack Park, Beckley, WV 25801, or reach out to Mandy Lash ([email protected]) or William Radford ([email protected]).
