Early Spring announces heavy rains with a breath-taking spectacle in the sky. Meanwhile, a neighbor tills the soil to prepare for a promising summer crop. This small town encourages gardening, realizing how that helps to bridge the gap in not only the food supply chain, but also of paychecks eroded by inflation.
"Earth and Sky" is one of a series of oil paintings by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day.
In this 16" x 20" oil painting, the artist used all professional grade, archival quality materials and production methods. The painting is sealed with a clear, UV protective finish for lasting impressions. The painting is mounted in a solid wood frame and is wired and ready to hang in you home, office, or anywhere you want a reminder to embark on a bit of adventure in an inspiring place.
This program, Eleanor’s 2020 Vision, is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
