One of the most artistic of solo dances, the Middle Eastern tradition of belly dance endures into modern times. In this painting, the subtle gestures of the arms and hands create lines that frame curious shapes between and around them. Ariana is painted on a 20" x 16" gallery wrap canvas 1-5/8" deep, the image continues around the deep edge adding dimension to the piece.
