An adventurous child discovers a hole in the sycamore during her climb. As she peers in, she's surprised to be greeted with equal curiosity from the resident squirrel. Meanwhile, the other squirrel shies away wary of the intruder. This drawing, "Hello My Friend," tells of the rewarding friendship granted to those more genuinely curious than suspicious.

This 20” x 16” original, "Hello My Friend", is drawn with archival quality, permanent India ink on acid-free Strathmore Bristol board for lasting impressions. The drawing is set in an acid-free, crisp white matt that sets off the clarity of the black ink drawing. The 20" x 16" matted drawing is mounted in an ebony frame with an outer dimension of 27" x 23" and is wired, ready to hang in your home or office.

"Hello My Friend" is one of a series of original artworks by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day.
