In the mid to late eighteenth century, there was a belief that unborn human offspring existed, fully formed, in each ovum (or sperm) prior to conception. This belief, called "preformationism" didn't last long. In this piece, I used biomorophic forms to illustrate the chaos that might occur in such a situation, in a meditative mandala format.
