This piece is painted on a recycled canvas that has had many different layers of backdrops and colors painted on it throughout the last couple years. There are pieces of media or ‘trash’ on this painting that I found on beaches, cut out of retired books, ripped from recycled boxes and bottles, or pulled from old doll houses.
