Fire of Life

This piece was one of the first pieces I ever painted specifically to a song, Another In The Fire by Hillsong United. It is a reminder when we go through the fires of life, God is there with us. I was reminded of the story; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They would not bow down to everyone else’s world but they stood for their beliefs in Jesus Christ. As they stood for their beliefs they were thrown into the fire because they were being disobedient to the immoral king. However, as the fire grew hotter it did not touch them. They did not even smell like smoke from being in the fire. When we trust in the one true God, Jesus, we can go through the fires of life and He is with us protecting us from getting burned.
