Welcome, Little One - This paper cutting is what I imagine it must be like when a new soul is welcomed into God’s Kingdom.
This cutting is all about texture and color, a blend of opulence with nature.
I spent a lot of time on this little piece. The flowers are created from mulberry paper to give them a delicate translucent texture. I used several different kinds of textured metallic papers, as well as an organic looking green thread. The more you look, the more you’ll see.
