Heavy textured leaves highlight hydrangea petals. The many shades of purple are front and in center in this unapologetic ode to nostalgia. Reminiscent of a rainy day in the 1890’s that my great grandmother would have experienced in her Illinois home. She often told me of her mothers hydrangeas and her love of everything purple.
