This vase was Wheelthrown and then manipulated and sculpted to achieve the look of ripples and cinching by the bow. The base has a matte white finish with the top and inside displaying glossy shades of green, blue and flecks of brown. This glaze has a beautiful transparency but also lots of depth where it pools and collects. The wide bottom of the vase allows for it to not only hold flowers but could be used as a container to hold kitchen items or other larger items.
