The other day, I heard the honking of geese and looked up just in time to see about 20 Canadian geese soaring low, right over my house. In this painting, I imagine myself flying with them, high above the stunning Colorado mountains where I once lived. We're gliding through the clouds, like I’ve seen so many times from a plane, and I'm always amazed by the colors up there—colors you can’t catch from the ground. When I look at this piece, it brings me a sense of peace, and I hope it does the same for others.
