I've always had a thing for daylilies, and the transience of their beauty; here and gone in only a day. They already have a fiery glow against the greenery in the garden, so here I sought to exaggerate that fire by contrasting the blooms against the cool, duller green of the interior wall while preserving their beauty for all time.
