ICA North - Artist Pavilion - On Site Exhibition
Flowers have long served as gestures — offerings of care, remembrance, celebration, and quiet attention. They mark moments both ordinary and significant, carrying meaning through color, form, and seasonality. In Bouquet, five regional artists approach the floral motif not as decoration, but as a site of reflection: a way of considering beauty, growth, and the shifting rhythms that shape both nature and lived experience.

Presented at the ICA North Artist Pavilion, the exhibition brings together painting and sculpture that expand botanical imagery across observation, history, and imagination. Here, flowers emerge not simply as subjects, but as frameworks through which artists examine how the natural world is studied, interpreted, and understood. Some works arise from sustained acts of looking — gardens tended over years, plants observed through cycles of change — while others draw from historical traditions or imagined environments shaped as much by memory as by direct experience.

Like a bouquet assembled over time, the exhibition brings distinct voices into relationship — each work maintaining its individuality while contributing to a larger composition. What emerges is not a singular vision of nature, but a shared act of looking: an invitation to slow down, to notice more closely, and to reconsider how beauty shapes the ways we understand the world around us.
