This metaphorical work of art is part of my ArtScience Adventures—exploring the nature of the human mind and creative process: how we think, create, learn, discover, invent, innovate, and communicate. “Grasping Synapses” reflects on the neuroscience of human creativity, learning and memory. It speculates on the myriad ways the brain connects its creations: from the words we use to describe our thoughts and convey our feelings to the technologies we build to see everything in the world words and numbers alone cannot completely describe nor fully represent.
