Designed by our Design and Build alumni Daniela Marin. This design is inspired by the Gold Rush that brought so many to the west. Daniela says “The design portrays The Gold Rush in a figurative, yet stylized and abstract manner. The golden roads represent the development and migrations impulsed by the gold found in Little Dry Creek, that today runs through Englewood, Colorado. In the foreground, William Green Russell, stands in the Creek that started it all. Holding in his hands the gold, that floats into the sky coloring the sunset. Creating a warm promising light that illuminates the immensity of the territory around him…Finally, in the sky, the words, “Englewood” and “Colorado” reminding the pedestrians that this beautiful golden land is their home.”
