Aberystwyth was battered by two consecutive storms in 2017. Storm Ophelia and Storm Callum. This painting is a metaphorical representation of the personal storms we face in life be they health related, financial or relational.
This oil on canvas painting has grains of sand that was washed up into the coastal town of Aberystwyth embedded into the paint. This painting was exhibited in the 2018 Exhibition of Contemporary Welsh Art London and my solo exhibition 'Remixing the Landscape' held at The Welsh Parliament in Cardiff 2019.
Framed in a chunky deep set contemporary black tray frame.
