In this artwork, titled “Neighborhood Treasures,” the artist created seven panels that reflect the pride in the community, history and people of Edgewood. The people depicted on the panels were done in silhouette so they could represent all members of the community. Beloved landmarks and symbols of daily life were added as well as a few of the many inspirational comments about the neighborhood.

“Certainly, Edgewood’s greatest treasure is its people.” – Ayako Abe-Miller
