We (One Columbia) are very proud to have helped to facilitate this new mural in 2020, “Magnolia on Main” by Maria DeFelice (@mariadefeliceart). The project was made possible by the folks at Market on Main. It features a triptych of panels in three different styles, yet of a cohesive image. The message behind this piece is celebrating the differences of those in our community, and the beauty and strength when we come together, unified as one.

The mural could not have been installed at a more appropriate time, with all that is going on in our community, as well as our nation. It represents a hopeful future where we can celebrate those different than ourselves, and see the beauty in coming together!
