Lenzo leans on southern face jugs as well as memory jugs and other folk art for inspiration. He recycles as a way of recapturing lost memories (his and others) due to his spotty recollections. The fireproof objects he uses in his work are collected from all over the world. Many are antiques and some are or were valuable. His creative process is non-verbal. His work has been in over 100 exhibitions including the SC State Museum, The Mint and The Renwick Gallery of this Smithsonian.
