Ralph Waldrop is a prominent South Carolina muralist and artist, best known for his large-scale public artworks that celebrate community and heritage in the Columbia metropolitan area.

Key Artworks & Murals
"God Bless America" (2001): Located in Columbia’s Five Points neighborhood, this mural was created in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. It was a collaborative effort involving more than 15 veterans who contributed their personal experiences to the piece.

"Capital City Times" (The Black Mural): This mural adorns the railroad trestle at the entrance to Earlewood Park on North Main Street. It was created with artist Vanessa Ashford-Bussy and received support from the Romare Bearden Foundation.

Wally the Whale: A beloved 25-foot long plywood whale sculpture that has become a local landmark, often seen at various community events and parades in South Carolina.
