Ernest’s most popular works are his funky chicken paintings. Every chicken is different, very colorful and… funky. He claims that his inspiration was two small chickens that he once owned, plus a friend who suggested, “Paint some chickens, people will buy that.” His friend was right; Ernest guesses that he has sold more than 400 funky chickens in Columbia alone.
