''Vault'' consists of an alignment of steel and black granite sculptural elements which express the transformation from raw steel and stone into a refined vaulted steel form thirty feet tall. The sculptures, as progressive alignment of forms, express a vortex of energetic movement and an aesthetic linkage connecting campus buildings, walkways and streets.
