''Site and Scope'' is an extended pixel map, made of cut and hand polished clear glass rods and CNC cut mirrored glass panels that reflect the complex topographical relief. The overall shape is an abstracted Gantt chart, to maximize the available structural wall and bring the eye down from the exposed mechanical and electrical elements above the student-centric space. For both the rod and cut forms, we will design and make custom wall mounts and fittings with the aid of 3D printing, CNC machining, and traditional processes. In this hybrid methodology, the form and techniques we will use relate to contemporary approaches to building, highlighting constructs of architecture and construction.
