The shapes that result from crystal growth have been an inspiration to the artist for many years. He found that there is a fascinating combination of both logic and randomness that happens when crystals twine and grow through and past each other. This opened the door to an entire sculptural vocabulary the artist used to create ''Quest'' which is made of bronze with a stainless steel armature. It stands 16 feet tall by 10 feet wide and is 7 feet deep.
