''Owens Rings'' is a series of six tapered suspended metal rings, tensioned with a stainless steel cable skeleton and lined with dichroic glass arcs that are designed to interact with sunlight and respond to the earth's orbit and its relation to the sun. The rings function as projectors in that they interact with light by capturing and projecting chromatic light into the surrounding space.
