Artists: Colby Kern x Christie Snelson

Project Statement: Colby, associate designer, and Christie, gallery manager at Obelisk Home, are always inspiring each other and asking each other advice on their creative endeavors. It was only natural that they started collaborating together. After they completed a couple small paintings last year, a large canvas that needed significant repair inspired the two to patch it up and create a large abstract. Colby and Christie have worked on this piece both together and separately, and they kept an open dialogue about their process each step of the way.
