BIO: Erin Tyler is a process-based artist whose work engages with ancestral heritage, personal identity, and artistic tradition. Central to Tyler's current practice are painted representations derived from images of a family quilt, often subjected to digital and physical manipulations. Through her work, she explores how images shape, transform, and displace meaning and memory. Tyler has offered classes and workshops at Missouri State University, The Springfield Art Museum, and The Pulitzer Arts Foundation. Recently, she completed an artist residency with The Villa Lena Arts Foundation in Palaia, Italy. She is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree at Missouri State University.
