Beth Uzzell is an artist residing in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her works are created in a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, and photography. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, she studied Art at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she received a Bachelor’s of Art/Art Education. She later earned her Master’s in Marketing from Walden University.

Uzzell’s work is inspired by the world of music and lyrical content, as well as, nature, particularly the interplay between light and shadow, texture, and color. She explores these themes in her paintings, which are characterized by bold, expressive brushstrokes and a richly layered approach to color and value. In her portraiture and watercolor works, her focus is on realism and detail.

She hopes the power of her art sparks conversations, inspires, and transforms ideas. She continues to push the boundaries of her craft, creating new and exciting work, experimenting with new mediums/tools and hopes her work captivates and encourages others to live what they love.
