Jacob Chatfield is a soft sculpture and photography artist who is currently located in Springfield, Missouri, in his first semester of his MFA program. Originally based in Huntsville, Alabama, his research focuses on maladaptive daydreaming and its impact on people's lives. He examines the effect it has on people's perception of time and their surrounding reality. His current work is focused on the triggers that spark these daydreams and the emotional numbness that they experience when leaving the dream.
