Artists: John E. Fyve x Christie Snelson

Project Statement: John and Christie first discussed several ideas how to merge their style and techniques prior to landing on a concept that focused on their geometric work…only for the process to dictate the project’s direction in the end. John ended up creating a number of small paper paintings using spray paint and hand-cut stencils, and Christie used these as the base of encaustic assemblages.
