Kissed By An Elephant #5 is part of a series of 9 quilts inspired by my trip to Bali in 2017. Yes, I was actually kissed by an elephant.
Each quilt is built around an eclectic log cabin block that starts with a batik elephant as its center. Each quilt has a distinctive border that may be African, a batik or just an interesting print.
Each quilt in the series measures 31x31 inches. Each is pieced and quilted by machine. Each is embellished with buttons and/or charms. Check out the red lips and the painted buttons on this one.
Happy elephants are on the back of each quilt. There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display and a label that documents the quilt.
