Kissed By An Elephant #1 is part of a series of 9 quilts inspired by my trip to Bali in 2017 with daughter India. Yes, I was actually kissed by an elephant.
My elephant kiss
Each quilt is built around an eclectic log cabin block that starts with a batik elephant as its center. Each quilt has a distinctive border that may be African, a batik or just an interesting print.

Each quilt in the series measures 32x32 inches and is pieced and quilted by machine. Each is embellished with buttons and charms.

Happy elephants are on the back of each quilt. There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display and a label that documents the quilt.
