My “Give Yourself Flowers” series continues with a new addition entitled Give Yourself a Victory Flower. This series reminds us that it is important to be good to yourself and not wait for others to do it.
As one who practiced law for 40 years before retiring, I love winning! This quilt reminds us to celebrate every victory no matter how small.
Give Yourself a Victory Flower starts with a red flower panel by Stephanie Brandenburg. The color scheme is bold, vibrant and happy. African fabrics, batiks, buttons, charms and appliquéd words carry out the message of the quilt.
Give Yourself a Victory Flower measures 39x41inches. It is machine pieced and quilted. There is a hanging sleeve on the back so that you can easily hang it on a curtain rod. A label documents the quilt and I signed it on the front.
