"Being a Native American this is my contemporary vision of the mystical buffalo the Great Father gave the people. It's hide provided warmth for our bodies, it's meat provided nourishment for our bodies, it's blood mixed with clay provided mortar for our lodges, it's bones provided tools. It's stomach provided vessels for carrying water and it's head, hooves and cape were part of our ceremonies and dances. All was used, nothing was wasted. What a great gift!" George Manus, Sculptor.
