"Hop To It!" depicts a whimsical, brightly colored leopard frog with large, gleaming eyes and a glistening body leaping effortlessly into the air. It lived just outside the front doors of Northglenn City Hall for several years until the Croke Reservoir rehabilitation project was completed in 2009. Ms. Shaklee's work is desplayed across the country, including a piece at the Smithsonian. In addition to being an artist, Ms. Shaklee is also an author, belongs to several artist alliances, and was also a long-time Northglenn Ats & Humanities foundation board member.
