Theis Wendt is a Danish artist working in sculpture, installation, and post-photography. His work connects ecology with the digital world. He works in various materials and techniques, from aluminium casts and to digitally rendered photographs. His sculptures unlock a view on a post-humanist, dystopian yet dreamy future while the wood frame prints suggest a mysterious ‘beyond’ – dark and seductive. This gives Wendt’s work a hint of Romanticism, which complements the clear and clean and aesthetics.

Wendt has exhibited widely, including shows at Kunsthal Nord, Ålborg; CCA, Mallorca; Andersen's Contemporary, Copenhagen; Skulptur Triennale, Brandts, Odense; Grimm, Amsterdam.
