Pachamama was first painted with heavy
house paint to add texture to the surface.
I wrote words about infinite space
and time, mother earth, pachakuti and
more across the canvas before pouring on
liquid watercolor. I scribbled with charcoal
and spread in black ink. The last layers
were done in acrylic and the entire piece is
varnished to seal the watercolor and
protect the piece. Some of the writing
is still shown from under the paint.
