One summer morning I woke up grumpy and realized that I hadn’t really deeply painted. I meditated on what was my next best step in the good for all and then (as a out of the blue) my good friend invited my daughter over for the day. I wrote 4 pages working from prompts that guided me through some feelings. Then I put some words and symbols onto this canvas. After that I poured paint and scribbled more into it and eventually it came.... I opened an old emotion that hadn’t healed and was able to rewrite the story of it. Our biography becomes our biology- Making art heals- even if you trash it afterwards. It’s the process that matters. framed in a black float frame.
