I yearn to touch them,
And see if they’re real.

If I’m quiet,
The magic comes
And I pluck them up.
One by one.

I’ll take them home,
To sit by my bed.
And light the way,
When I’m caught in my head.

They’ll bring back the quiet.
That hidden part.
And help me remember,
To live with my heart.
