"I’m particularly interested in the idea of questioning reality through the form and the formless. Like our own human existence, we do not really know where we came from or where we are going to. Working with my drawings and improvised hand-made models, I start the painting process with something material and then use my intuition to complete an intangible image with oil sticks and paints on canvas and wood panels. Like quantum energy, the forms are not identifiable and they contract and expand in a mysterious movement without time, space, or gravity. Ideas and spiritual inspiration come from my interest and study of quantum physics, astrology, dreams, and the tarot that ultimately support and guide my current practice.”
