This piece is part of a collection of works where I am exploring my connection with female ancestors, many of whom have a connection with sewing and thread. There is a beauty in understanding where one has come from and where they choose to go and evolve. In this collection, I also exploring the relationships between the things we collect and hold dear in connection to my female ancestry.
