Not For Sale
With this couple I wanted to represent vanity. It also represents a development of my white figures.
One of a kind, 21” and 23” high, visible parts sculpted of air-drying clay and covered with washi-paper, slightly painted with acrylics, inserted glass eyes. Bodies are worked in soft sculpture technique on a wire armature into this position. Dresses of silk and antique lace in the fashion of about 1770. Hair of yarn. Custom-made stand.
