Sheltering at Home was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Being stuck at home gave me plenty of time to read and this particular book was made using pages from a beloved children's book my Grandmother used to read from. I scanned and reduced the size of the pages to fit the small book she is holding. Her dress was made from heavy cardboard, dupioni silk and wool. All the windows, trims, etc I had on hand. Her hair is hemp.
