"Tunka Oyate," is a Lakota word meaning "pathway or connection to earth and man's beginnings." Informally known as "Wayne State Rocks!" this project includes a granite walkway between Connell Hall and the Studio Arts building. Born in Serbia, Zoran studied art at the University of Belgrade. In the early 80’s he was an artist-in-residence in Paris where he met painter Ilene Krug. They moved to Minneapolis in the mid-80’s. Since then, Zoran has been working on public art commissions.
