The triptych is a depiction of a single landscape, across three canvases. The viewer looks toward the west, on a June afternoon. Highway 2 sweeps from the lower left, past grass-covered dunes, and disappears into the distance at the center. Linda Lillegraven was born in Fort Benning, Georgia and education includes a M.S., Biology, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah in 1976; B.S., in Zoology, Sand Diego State University, San Diego, California 1972; and B.A. Art, San Diego State University.
