Cybele

Omaha sculptor, Sidney (Buzz) Buchanan has a prolific number of enormous sculptures located in Omaha. He also worked in 2-D reliefs and smaller wooden sculptures.

Buchanan was born in 1932 in Superior, Wisconsin, but taught sculpture since 1964 at the University of Nebraska - Omaha. He earned a B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota at Duluth and an M.A. from New Mexico Highlands.
