Canal in Autumn Mist II

Canal in Autumn Mist II is a 19 x 28 inch reproduction print located at the Norfolk Veterans' Residential Facility in the C section opposite room #C147. This reproduction print is of a pathway next to a stream in the fall, the leaves in the trees are falling in oranges and yellows which are bright colors against the blueish color of the path.

Friedman grew up in Arlington, Virginia. He lives with his wife, the writer Joanne Barkan, in Manhattan and Truro, Massachusetts. He received a B.A. in philosophy from Princeton University and an MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He also studied at the Corcoran Museum School in Washington, D.C. and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine.
